Hi there, I recently upgraded my UBB from 6.1.x to 6.2.1 and am having a strange problem. The UBB e-mails people password verification but the password field is completely blank. Here is what the e-mail looks like users are receiving:

Your Login (User) Name:
Your Password:
Your Email Address of record is:

Any ideas how to fix this??

Hey this is a pretty serious problem. I'm starting to accumulate a lot of e-mail from people complaining about blank passwords. Any idea at all what the problem could be? Everything worked perfectly until I updated to the latest UBB.

Yes I opened a ticket yesterday. I haven't heard anything back yet. Is there a link to check the status of a ticket?

In the mean time are there any suggestions you could make? Could this be something silly like a file permissions issue or what?

Turns out hte ticket didn't go through, but a second did, which I've been assigned. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I'll be looking at your board shortly.

For the record, this issue is caused by not overwriting vars_wordlets_email.cgi as noted in the upgrade.txt file.

Closing this topic, as both issues are taken care of via the tickets. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
