I'm one of those folks having problems with my registered user numbers starting over at #1 after upgrading to v6.0.

I filled out a support ticket for this problem on Sunday and have yet to hear any kind of work back from Infopop. How long does it normally take for some kind of response to a support ticket inquiry?

We are going through all of these types of tickets as fast as we can. Our queue is somewhat larger than normal up so our usual turnaround time of 1-3 business days may be a little longer then usual, sorry for the delays.

You probably had some type of User Text hack installed, huh?

Well, UBB v6.0 doesn't let you fix "corrupted" old Member files..

So your going to have to tell the UBB to start at the latest member.

Go into your Members Directory and open "last_number.cgi". Fix that to the last User # that registered. Do the same to "membertotal.cgi".

That should fix the problem! Did for me, anyways <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Thanks so much for your suggestion. That worked--I should have figured that out myself, but you're the first person to suggest it and my board is now numbering the new registrants again correctly (it overwrote about 60 registrants, but they were all users who are no longer active on the board)

I was going to thank you by ordering some bulbs for my garden from your web site, but I see it actually has nothing to do with garden bulbs... Oh well, since I don't need any Pokemon cards, I'll just have to thank you publicly here.
