Our team is running version 6.04e and everything runs great except for one thing.

When people try to register....they fill out all of the necessary fields and then hit submit. Then they just hang there....foreeeeeeever. It never gets to the next page saying they've successfully registered and their password has been sent to their e-mail.

Yet when I go into our UBB control panel, it shows they've registered. So it seems that everyone can register, but they never know their account has been setup because it just hangs when they click on submit. I get people e-mail'ing me asking why they can't register....all because when they hit the submit button, it hangs on that page and never follows through to tell them they've successfully registered.

If what I said made sense, does anyone know why this happens? Is it a bug? Any feedback would be appreciated.

The same exact thing is happing to me... I was just reading the boards here looking for an answer also... I have a whole bunch of people who will be registering on Monday and hope to have this bug fixed by then... <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Mark, I confirmed this on your board. (tried to register as DCF, delete it if it went thru).

Have either of you cleared your cache lately?
Also have you tried uploading a fresh copy of your ubb .cgi files?

I will flush the cache. It has only been up and running for a few days though...

What is the state of email verification on your boards? If it's on, do other email functions act like this as well?

Email Verification is ON. It sends the mail just fine while its lagged up. What other function do you mean by other email functions?
