when I try to get members to my board, sure they go.

But when they go to the Register Screen.

and they do the agree thing, then then enter all the info, user name, displayed name, and password, along with all the other stuff.

Well, then when they hit the "Submit Registration" button they are promtped to download *ultimatebb.cgi* from my server.

What is that??

I know you 's guys is busy and all.

But, some one knows this answer.

I mean, it is pureley logical, to fix this.

Simple enough.

I jes don't understand, could it be in my FTP, and how I transfered files?

I would review the installation instructions, and make sure that the correct file transfer mode was used in uploading the files (ASCII vs. binary), that all the files were uploaded, and that the file and directory permissions were set correctly.

Did that, and still same thing.

All CGI files CHMods set to 755 (for netfirms)

I have this one file in my FTP says core.

Core, that's all it says.

Then the cp_files starts

So, I dunno.

Well, you're probably correct that its something simple. As Dave_L pointed out you make it sound like you've checked all the simple things. As such, the best way to get this solved is to have Infopop get in there and check things out via FTP. Please complete a support ticket and they'll get it fixed for you.

Tch, sounds like a good idea.

But, lemme try this other server out, they are sending me my DNS entry for my site.

If this doesn't work, then that support ticket will be done.

Two things I want to cover in this reply.

1- I have changed servers, Digital Rice, hopeing this fixes the trouble.

2- Charles, you closed both the topic I replied in, and the topic I started, what, can I not say a few choice words in that topic I put asking why I stated that the me-too's can not be implemeted.

I do have a choice to want to reply.

But when they get closed, I cannot say anythign esle.

I don't want to start another topic, dealing with the same thing again.

That makes no sense, whatso ever.
