Just had 6.05 installed and members are getting following error message when attempting to post:

Error: Could not write to this file: Floodcheck.cgiPermission denied 
Any thoughts?

Just tried to rebuild stats file and got this:

Unable to open lasttime.file in Forum5 : Permission denied at /home/marriage/cgi-bin/cp_index.cgi line 395. 
???

Did you move your board recently?
Sounds like a huge permissions problem.

Set the permissions on your noncgi/ubb directory to 777.
Same with members if you notice problems there.

Interesting call, Mastermind.

Moved the board last week to our upgraded server. Then, just had our UBB5 upgraded to UBB6.05 today by Infopop installer.

Checked what you've mentioned and a few more things, but all seem to be set right.

I'm at a loss. I must be overlooking something&#8230;programs don't lie <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Permission denied is *ALWAYS* related to permissions or ownership.

Please make sure that the files and directories in the NonCGI directory have proper permissions.

If Infopop did the install, PLEASE contact them immediately and have them fix it. They will be more than happy to do it. Their goal is a successful installation, and if its not, then they will want to fix it. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
