Well I've searched through this forum and I'm at a loss.

I NEED the UBB accelerator on my forum - my server account was suspended due to "unacceptably high" CGI loads on a shared server. I'm hoping the accelerator helps with this.

I tested an installed the accelerator - the front page ( http://www.chainmailstore.com/cgi-bin/forum/ultimatebb.cgi ) looks fine but if I click on anything linking to a PHP page I get a blank white screen.

Forum works fine is I turn off accelerator.
I've cleared the cache and even erased the cache by FTP then saved a new config as per Charles Capps suggestion in a related thread.
I've chmoded anything that looked remotely involved to 777.
I've rebuilt forum stat files.
I've also tryied this on my windows server 6 months ago with similar results.

Barring any useful suggestion I'll take suggestions on a new server provider - under $250/year that can handle a 1250 member forum with maybe 20-30K page views a day with room for growth. Note the server ONLY needs to handle the Forum - I have another server for the rest of my webpage too.

And did you run the PHP test file that ships with UBB.classic? It will tell you if you have the minimum required version of PHP installed and if zlib compression is available.

It would also help if you could tell us what version of PHP the test script says you have available.

To run the test script, just go to your control panel, and where the option in configuration settings is for turning the Accel. on and off there is a link there to run the test script.

Your PHP version will have no issues with the UBB Accelerator. The UBB Accelerator will use zlib compressed output.

Error logs - hmm that sounds like a good idea....
I looked at them and I'll admit I have no idea what they are telling me but they do seem quite large... I'll copy them to a non restriced area - note these are just copies they will not update.
