We have managed to delete some of our members .cgi files from our server and do not have backups. This means we can't switch our board on again, because it returns an error due to the missing files (we've deleted 00000001.cgi - 00000056.cgi).
Losing the members' details isn't the end of the world as they can always rejoin, but I do want to get the board up as quickly as possible. Is there a 'dummy' members files I can rename and use to replace to deleted files? Could I just copy another members' profile across to get things going again, or would this make things worse?
I know I should have backed them up, but didn't! And help would be greatly appreciated.
