i updated from 5.47e to 6.06 ('nix).

the board is functioning properly, however my old user data is not getting moved over.

i can see the users (with correct passwords) through the admin, but the users are unable to login - the error message is "password incorrect".

if i run the "update member stats", the memberslist.cgi gets whacked (all usernames are deleted and only the delimiter and numbers remain), to the point where now, when i try to login, it tells me the user doesn't exist (but will still be found in the admin).

any new users who register are error-free.

any ideas?

You should probably shut down the board in the mean time. The less damage, the better.
