I'm sure ive seen a update sql for this somewhere.

But anyway,
after my import classic to threads,
ive noticed that the Collation is set to latin1_swedish_ci

Does some one have a query i can run to update the 51
tables i now have. As they are all latin1_swedish_ci

What should they be set too?
I'm english and in the uk
Not my fault lol...

And i could also ask could this cause any problems
with the database. running under latin1_swedish_ci

I believe latin1_swedish_ci is the default latin-based character set; it should be this imo, it's what all of my db's are set to and running without issue...

I'm sure i seen UF8 or somthing like that?


But as long as it wont cause any issues that cool.

I cant spell latin or swedish words lol...

well if you think about it, sweedish words utilize accents (letters with the symbols above them) and most written languages are based off of latin letters; so it would lead to say that its only for what is allowed....
