Besides that issue, I'd like to see it formatted more like this (which I'm sure is what was attempted. Or perhaps it's just my email reader). This also stresses the importance of verifying their email address:

So very similar.

You will need to alter

languages/x/adduser.php - $ubbt_lang['PASS_BODY']
- $ubbt_lang['DOVERIFY']

However you might need to tinker with /scripts/adduser.inc.php (lines 761-771) and maybe add in an extra language string to word the email as desired.

Hope this gets you started and in the right direction. As always back up your files before altering them, just in case.

Don't use the Control Panel to make these changes. When you click the "Update Language File" button, it adds extra "\" characters to any text that already includes a "\" character.

Instead, go to the /languages directory and directly edit the adduser.php file. It appears that \n is used to create a line feed - just get rid of the extra "\".

Looks like a bug in the Control Panel?
