What would you think about coming up with a system to split out the main menu up at the top from the template/code
(Portal Page Forum List ect....)
Why I would ask this
Its purely selfish - I hate editing it for the upgrade
I would love to see an admin form that lists
Menu for guests
Text --- Link
....
Menu for users
Text --- Link
....
Menu for moderators
Text -- Link
...
Menu for Admins
Text -- Link
...
Then custom menus for each main group of users could be updated online in the control panel and not thru script editing.
Granted 99% of your forum users most likely don't edit the menus but I do and thats what counts.

What about updating the show moderator function to hide the moderators from the postlist in addition to the showflat/showthreaded.
All my moderators are global and identified by other means so I don't want or need the list of them on the forum or posts.
It would be nice to turn it off and its turned off.
This is another area where I have to edit.

UBBthreads is the best forum package out there
I also don't like to edit scripts much as I got stuck with UBBthreads version 4.5 for years as the customization I did made it impossible to use the updaters. I would love to avoid that and the base of UBB 7 almost does everything I want so far
