I upgraded a threads 6.5.5 site to threads 7.0.1 and I am running into an error editing a post posted back in the 6.5.5 days.


I've repaired the posts table a few times but still get the above error. I even attempted to edit the post within phpmyadmin and get the same error then. I don't see the error when modifying current posts.

Any idea?

That's a bad one. Usually that happens when MySQL dies or is stopped during a write. Basically, you might need to end up recreating the table. What you'd have to do is dump out the ubbt_POSTS table to a backup and then delete the table. Then you'd need to grab the create table syntax for it out of the createtable.php script and recreate the table and then reimport the posts back into it.

Thanks for the info, this is not a threads bug then, this was the site moved to a server with mysql 3.something that was just updated to 4.1something. Could have happened at any point during that time then.
