It would be really slick if there was a way to customize the calendar to show our chat schedule and not birthdays. Any way to do that in this version or perhaps a future one?

by chat schedual are you pointing at what the average times of users are or what? I don't quite understand...

I figured it out. We can customize the calendar any way we like. What I meant was we have online meetings and we wanted to show the schedule of these meetings.

One thing the calendar needs work on is to have reoccurance weekly in addition to monthly and yearly. (hint, hint)
