Is there a way to insert text that will link to another page?
We see that if you put in a link with no HTML it will automatically link. The problem is our links are very long and we would much prefer putting something like "click here" and not have the URL of the link itself display.

Also, is there a way to make some of the text bold? HTML does not work.

This is bold

Use the post options to the right of "Post:". The first one is for nice looking links and the fifth one is for bolding. Just highlight what you want bold then click the Bold button.

I am referring to entering events in the Calendar. How can we BOLD and insert text links without showing the URL itself?

You'd use regular markup code, such as [b]bold[/b] [url=http://www.example.com]Link Title[/url]
