Hi - I've just upgraded from 6.3 to 6.5.5 and one of the features that we used to use frequently, due to the private nature of our board, was the "delete all posts by user". We could delete just their posts or their posts with all replies.

I cannot locate a similar feature in the control panel in 6.5.5.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thank you!

Correct me if I'm wrong but was your 6.3 classic and now your 6.5.5 is Threads?

I don't think that is possible in Threads as that would break the entire posting. (hopefully a new method to prevent that breakage will be in a future version)

Thanks for the reply! I don't know about the "classic" designation for 6.3, I'm sorry. But yes, we are on UBB.Threads, 6.5.5 currently.

If that's the case, then I guess I'm going to have a "culture shift" for my group. Oh boy! wink

Thanks again!

UBB."Classic" was the infopop Perl/CGI forum solution. UBB."Threads" is the infopop PHP/MySQL forum solution.

Cardinal rule of coding: Thy user shallt not lose functionality when upgrading.

Who screwed that up? Certainly there is a fix or a work around solution for this fine lady?

That's still in 6.5.5. When you go to delete the user, you'll see the option to delete their posts as well.
