In the control panel I've changed the date format to: d/m/Y | H:i
However, everything is still m/d/Y | H:i A
Bug ?

You may have to clear your board's cache in Control Panel as well
GangsterBB.NET (Ver. 7.6.1.1) PHP Version 5.6.40 / MySQL 5.7.23-23 (was 5.6.41-84.1) / Apache 2.4.54 2007 Content Rulez Contest - Hon Mention UBB.classic 6.7.2 - RIP

What about the settings in your Preferences? That overrides the board's setting...

I believe the issue is a bug that was fixed in more recent versions, I believe A is hardcoded into some templates.

More than likely it's the personal preference setting. One thing that is easy to miss is that the personal preferences in your profile/preferences will overwrite the control panel settings. Things like date format, number of posts per page, etc. those will apply to users that aren't logged in and will be the default for new users. But once you edit your profile you're preferences will take precedence over the control panel ones.

I want to have it by default since m/d/y is not format we use in Belgium. I cannot ask all my users to change it in their preferences.
Using UBBThreads Version 7.02

You can run the following sql command
UPDATE ubbt_USER_PROFILE SET USER_TIME_FORMAT = 'd/m/y | h:i A'
this would then set everyone to d/m/y
however always backup your database prior to running any SQL command on your database.
this is untested, but should work fine.

It is worth mentioning that birthdays will still be shown in US format - these currently do not show in european standard, which may confuse your members.
Hopefully these will soon be displayed in the same way as other dates. I have put in a request for this.
