What is the difference between Full URL to main and Relative URL to main?

I know the Full is http://forums.domain.com

and I understand the Absolute Path to main

but what is the Relative?

I think I figured it out.

If my FULL URL was http://www.mydomain.com/forums

than my relative URL is

/forums

Because my FUll URL is http://forums.mydomain.com

My relatice URL is blank or nothing, which is what was confusing me.

post count +2, sorry.

Yes, you're current. In your case your relative url will be empty.

I set my full url as:
'FULL_URL' => $https . '://' . $url . '/forum',

lol, then again I also hacked in full SSL support and I have multiple domains and wanted things to stay consistant

I need some help here also. Everything was working fine, and then somehow, the relative url got deleted on mine install.

Full url: http://www.okpredatorhunters.com

relative url:

absolute path: /home/ophaweb1/public_html/html/Forums

Can anyone help me replace the lost string?

ahh, the relative url should be wherever your forums are. If your forums are in /forums then the relative url would be /forums.
