I've installed the scripts for the redirect.

php - ok
cgi - firefox and IE want to 'download' the file.

I have done nothing to the file except for uploading and chmoding to 755.

Anyone else come across this?

Make sure your path to perl is set properly in the file; if it is, then it sounds like apache isn't mapped to perl; which would be odd if you've upgraded from classic since it should have been for classic to run...

I knew you'd say that

I am well versed with perl - programmed using it for a few years.
The path is correct - UBB has been running on it for eight years.

I have no other perl probs - I still use more perl scripts than php - I'm a dinasaur....

However, I thought I'd check here first before going to my hosts.

If no-one else has experenced problems - it must be unique to my server.

Still - odd that I don't have any other perl problems, isn't it?

Yes, that is a bit odd. It could be that it's sending some type of header that the server doesn't like. Your host might have some clues on that. If they can't help, if you want to open a support ticket I'll see if I can figure it out.

Where I completely love making people open tickets for Rick when I'm stumped, I think this one is actually bothering me lol...
