When importing from Classic to Threads, does a user's avatar URL in his profile get imported as well? Meaning, does he have to choose his avatar again?

The URL to the avitar is moved over, however keep in mind that if it's in your old install directory, it will still be linked to this directory...

I did an import from Classic to Threads and it went fine, but I'm a little confused on how it handled some avatars.

For example, in my profile on my Classic board my avatar URL was:
http://www.mydomain.com/ubb/Avatars/avatarfile.gif

After the import, there was no URL for an avatar in my profile. It was just empty.

For users linking to avatars on other sites, or in other directories on mine, their avatars came through fine in their profile.

I'm going to import one final time and wondered if there is anything I can do or change to make this work. Thanks.

Well it should be working actually, the code should handle that very thing

I checked out a user profile and see what is happening.

Before the import, the URL in a user profile is:
http://www.mydomain.com/ubb/Avatars/avatarfile.gif

After the import, the URL becomes:
http://www.mydomain.com/home/ubb/Avatars/avatarfile.gif

The insertion of "home" is the problem.

Anything I can do to prevent that before I run the importer again?

yes, you could enter the noncgi url correctly. You seem to be adding "home" where it should not be

I'm having a strange issued trying to change non-cgi path.

I get this error:

The config.inc.php file found in your /home/mydomain/ubbthreads/includes directory is not writeable. Please fix the permissions on this file and try again.

However, I checked the permissions via my FTP client and it checks out OK. And, the permissions check in CP says the includes directory and all files are OK.

What else could be the problem?

If I edited this file, could that maybe be the problem?
