I ask an user from my forum to do the translation to Spanish on my forum.
She send all files back and I upload it. Now if one change the language preference to Spanish, the next login he/she will receive a blank screen. No error message, just a blank screen.
Is there any fast/easy way to check the language files for errors other then open one by one and visually see if there is ";" at the and of each line, no " in the middle of each line, all translation are between "", and etc.?
I start doing it mannualy, but takes very long time for each file...
Thank you

If you have command line access to the server, you can run "php -l" on each language file to check syntax on the file. If you don't then you can probably use a good php editor to load in the files on your local computer and use the editor to check syntax.

That is an idea. I open it on Dreamweaver (I don't have line access to my server) and now is going a little faster...

Likely, they didn't comment out any ' (or " depending on what the opening/closing character is of the line)
