I love that feature in Classic because I run a WinCron script to automatically read the POP3 box that the registration emails are sent to and to build a master emailing (distribution) list. (I need the master dist list to exist outside of the forums as I have two other sources (non-message board related) feeding into this email list.)

If the new Registrant notification emails were removed from threads.. *please* add it back?

Any word on this feature? Couldn't find any option in 7.2 to enable this.

It's accessible to Administrators via "My Stuff / My Preferences (scroll to bottom) / Notify me when a new user registers on the forum".

It's pretty basic though. It literally just lets you know that someone has registered but doesn't give any user info. There has been request posted in the Feedback forum to add more details as UBB.classic did.

Oh, no details though. Thanks for pointing this out. Why is this hidden inside your profile? Would not be the first place I would logically look for this .

Yes, I thought it would have been in the CP Registration Settings, the most obvious place to look.

It's in the profile because there can be multiple administrators on a site, and some might want to be notified and some not
