Our little one turned 11 over the weekend. Here's a snapshot of him eating his snacks Sunday evening.

David is actually his middle name, he's a junior so we call him David to not confuse everyone - which will be an issue once he starts school

And it shouldn't be an issue in school; most allow for nicknames, especially when the nickname is a part OF their legal name...

And yes, he loves to eat... his weight hasn't quite caught up with his height on the growth charts yet, we'll find out in a month when he goes back for his one year checkup.

It's NICU (Neonatal ICU) where I'm from - I worked in NICU for ~14 years after getting my RN back in the 80's-90's.

He was in ~10 days - started gaining weight after birth pretty much immediately and went home around 4lb 5-6 oz. The weather was turning very cold that day and with my previous experience the doc felt he would do better at home and getting him there before the cold snap was important. My wife Melanie, who never changed a diaper before David, has done amazingly well with him and David is about as healthy/ happy a chunkie kid can be

We had a pregnancy scare here a couple of nights ago, the test said no, but you know how "correct" they can be at times... Wife's still late so we're waiting to take another till this weekend...

We had the opposite happen - Melanie found she was pregnant ~8 weeks ago (planned), we miscarried 2 weeks ago. It's been a bad couple weeks, things are getting better tho. The docs say we can try again in a month.

I got really excited when i heard Sam might be pregnent again (though i didn't let it off) but when it came out negative the last 2 tests (took it again tonight) I was a little more depressed :/...

Then we went shopping and I was checking out the cloths at walmart, the little baby suit's and dresses, i was all "awwe"'ing everything...

Sorry to hear about Mel (can I call her that? some "mel"'s like it, others hate it) misscarrying, we've been there before (there where 2 pregnancies before trey, one was a misscarriage from sam and i, the other was an abortion from sam's ex), i hope all is well, send my love and play with David for me :x.
