Actually it's in two days and I still haven't given my wife a definite idea of what I want. I'm thinking of asking her for an iPhone, but I'm just not sure if I should get one now or hold out until the next model comes out. Decisions, decisions....

I almost bust a gut trying to get a Wii for my boy for Christmas last year - he barely looks at it now.

Wiis get old fast, I don't think they have that many games yet do they?

I think he has a WII and broke something with it. Or threw out his back or somethin'.

I'm with the "extra hour of sleep every day for a week" crowd. Get to be our age, Rick, you need it more than a threw-my-back-out-again toy.

Combining a 30-inch monster with four other 20-inchers, the Zenview Powerscape Ultra HD is perhaps the biggest consumer-purchasable multi-monitor setup yet.

12,000,000 pixels. How does that sound? It is even HDCP compliant.

  • Five LG.Philips LCD panels on dual desk stands
  • Central panel input: digital DVI (HDCP ready)
  • Secondary panel inputs: Digital DVI and Analog D-sub connections (each panel)
  • Width: 73.2″ (bezel); 76.2″ (bow); 70.0″ (base)
  • Depth: 25″ (total); 9″ (at center)
  • Height: 21.7″ (on standard poles)

A must-have. That is if US$4,999 means nothing to you.

Big boys, big toys wink

and i thought 3 dell 24's was enough... laugh

Yeah I've got a few in the 300 to 750GB range but now I'm wanting to keep a mirror of the 750 in a folder on the 1TB and still have room for temporary stuff I don't care if it gets lost on a drive failure.

Maybe Rick would like something that isn't connected with "FLAMIN' COMPUTERS" as his wife probably calls them.

I asked for something cheap so I ended up getting Guitar Heroes 2 for the Xbox 360 wink

I got her one of her regular gifts, a snowglobe. She gets one each year, engraved with year and some little personal note from me. Also her old necklace had broke so I got her one of those white gold adjustable necklaces that can go from like 8" up to 24", with a new pendant to go along with it. Also flowers of course wink

Rick .. what a man! You did good. smile

We don't have Xbox 360, but we're thinking of getting it for Christmas. Guitar Heroes is supposed to be excellent. smile
