Well let's just wait till us American spending hogs can no longer afford to spend on frivolous stuff anymore. Then see where those Euros and Pounds go to. China is becoming a massive new economic power but they too are not the spenders that Americans are, which means when the well dries up in America - EVERYONE is going to feel it

Sounds like you've got a bit of a cold there driv, straight home after school now. So, weather as expected then, no surprises, unlike the sports over the weekend, what a shocker. Here's a full round up from Mark S.

<driv voice> UK - rain USA, SoCal - sunshine back to you SK </driv voice> Arf arf arf - he heh Well you're correct, most of the UK does suffer heavy rain - but we're in the south and it makes a heck of a difference. I think we've only had a day of rain in the last few weeks. The weather has been excellent really for Oct and Nov. Went to the Harlow fireworks show tonight. ...always outstanding. They spend around £10K on the show!!!!! Bugger me! * I had to explain what Bugger meant to an ex-girlfriend (she was Dutch). * I guess I should be very carefull saying bugger me in American company - perhaps it has a different conotation

Well take it "bugger" in England may be something like "wow, that's amazing, unbelievable" Here in the US it could be meant more like a "Broke Back Mountain" thing But we don't really use the term around here anyways for anything.

We celibate Guy Fawkes to keep the cheap Chinese Fire Work imports in business.
It gets louder every year. I don't have to join the army i think i know what a war zone sounds like. Talk about money going up in smoke.
And to top it off around the uk councils have cancelled "Bonfires" to reduce there carbon footprint and to reduce the damage to the environment.
And what of Tradition ! <mad>

I just realised that since I launched my first site, I used the old version that wasnt for big boys.. then we upgraded to Threads, then threads became one.. I've realised that pretty much since the product started we have grown the site with it. A huge thanks to everyone at UBB, and also to the ThreadsDev guys and all the other modders on here who make the product something unique. Figured it was time to go gold to thanks all

Yup, you end up saving a lot in the long run, especially if you where an "early adopter"... Compare, $199 initial fee + $99/yr, starting from say 1999, that totals to about a grand ($199 + ($99 x 8) = $991) which is more than what it'd cost to go gold; not to mention you get some nice support units for gold... Though I've yet to really figure out what I'd need with any support units.

Though I've yet to really figure out what I'd need with any support units. For you and me they pretty much are there to collect dust, but 5 hours of prime support for that price is a real bargain That price for gold pretty much ensures you a lifetime of running the board, both in keeping the latest greatest version, and enough support units to keep that latest greatest version running
