I've got it running at a mild 3.6GHz 13x277. I've read reports of the X6800 runing at 4.x+ on water. I'm not willing to go that high on a daily machine. I just wish MS would do something with DX 10.1x and someone would start making native multi monitor support for games other then flight sims.

The loudest thing in the system is the Sliverstone power supply. You can't even hear the watercooling system.

The case is a http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/product/Chassis/fulltower/Kandalf_lcs/vd4000bws.asp

It is a removable drive bay. One large thumb screw is the only thing that holds it in and the power supply is mounted on the far side of it.

'eh, if I wanted an ICS i'd build it myself vs buy a prebuilt solution... I hear it also limits the waterflow to 1/4th inch tubes? It's a beautiful case though, I wonder if they make a lighter, non-prebuilt-watercooling case...

You can buy the Kandalf without their H20 set up and you're a smart guy, build something you like. I on the other hand, bought what I thought is a proven solution. Even with the standard pump, hose size, and what is a very large factory rad can run this CPU and two BFGs and never get over 32c. I am very happy with the price and performance of this computer. Its rock solid and super fast.

No, it's not cross-fire, it's Nvidia's SLI and you don't need two of them, just one.

The ribbon for my SLI came with the motherboard.

It's not different terminology, it's different technology. The produce the same results but SLI is patented by Nvidia so ATI had to come up with there own system. You can not use Nvidia cards in a Crossfire MB or ATI cards in a Nvidia board.

True, but I thought I read somewhere where some vendor made a board to run either (but not positive)

Yeh mines a ATI card. and they use cross fire.

But the ribbons are a rip off, and its difficult to
know if you need one or two.

Only got the one card as everything is sweet ATM

Would be nice if they did.
