Make "notifying a moderator" private. Not everyone wants to let everybody publicely know they are notifying a mod. We had an issue with that recently.
For the time being I changed the language file online.php.

I think he's referring to viewing "Who's Online" which will display what a user is currently doing (such as reading a PM or "notifying a moderator")

There was some "why did you complain about us" thing recently, when somebody used notify moderator.

Absolutely agree something needs to be done with this issue.
Such a thing would have a severe dampening effect on member's inclination to use this feature.
