Using V7.2.2

Issue

Not sure if it is because a post being entered is in HTML but if I enter such content and save the post content towards the bottom is then gone as if some setting is preventing content length ?

I do not see anything in control panel that limits content size or am I just over looking where that limit size is ?

I just did one post and at least a 3rd of the content at the bottom that was showing in the create window is gone when post is saved and published.

Thanks

Was the "Markup" pulldown menu below the post window changed to contain "using HTML"?

Is it a very long post? Does it show up in the preview ok, or does it crop it there as well?

Rick, content would have covered I'd say about 3 screen lengths.
I know all the content was there as I did this several times with same results. Content was complete when viewing the screen area for entering the text but then after content is saved and then viewing at lest 1/3rd of the content is now gone.

I tried entering ( cut and paste) and options set to HTML,
also tried as both HTML and using UBB code and get the same results.

The first post stopped after 45,172 characters (44k) according to EditPad... I wouldn't think that that would be incredibly high, but I don't know. (The complete post would be almost 75k)

But FWIW, something like that seems to be reference material. I would consider just creating a new content page and linking to it. I'm pretty sure there's a "blank" template or something you could use in the UBB files to plug this into...?

I was forced to do that and the ouput looks like this

http://teamzr1.com/C6pids.html

As seen the content itself is not large as a table, its all the html code that is making the size and it would be preferred to see the table in the thread rather then having to link to domain as a webpage

I'm sure Rick will chime in about the size issue itself, but what if you simply broke it up into two or three tables, and made consecutive posts in the same thread? For instance, the 2nd table at the end is short, and could be in its own post (would make it easier to find as well, IMHO). Just an idea...

The data is being cropped way before the smaller table so that itself would not help
Yes it could be broken into 4 tables but that makes it messy to view and the issue is what and why the content size is being limited when HTML code would greatly increase the raw content

At the least you think when clicking on save that the system would inform user that content is too large like it does when a image to large is used.

I know this is an older topic, But I run into the same issue which looks to me like a bug. When I enter HTML of a larger size, the board just cuts it and only saves the firt part. The preview is completele OK, but after saving, not all the HTML is being saved in the database.

Can you please make the HTML entering, "unlimited"?
