ok, great al these permissions, but a hell to maintain.

I would love that I could setup templates, and in the forums itself I could pick which permission template is used for that forum.

That way changes are a lot easier to maintain. I don't know about joe average's board, I know on mine 80-90% of the forums have the same permissions.

You could set up a default and copy that to any other forums.

I guess the biggest concern is not really knowing if the correct permissions are set for each forum.

Yes, I could. And every change I make means copy/copy/copy/copy/copy*30. Plus not just everything is the same. I would just like to have some templates where I link too.

Having already having to copy the stuff twice to each and every forum is a bit tiresome. That's not fun to do while tweaking settings, plus easy to forgetting updating one.

Indeed - have already asked for this. it is a pain to have to open each dropdown on the page every time.
