I download a style to the forum but i would to delte the style from the forum i have tried delete it through display option and it does not work can anyone help please

Control Panel - Styles -- scan for row of choice --> [ Delete ] *poof* gonzo ps: make sure you set a default theme, if you delete one that WAS the default

i imported the wrong file i imported a zip file not the txt file. now it comes up with
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ',' in /home/e29ange/public_html/forum/forum/styles/8.php on line 11
should i go on to the server delete from there

with it come up with the error will it effect the forum at all

i have tried again to delete the style through the control panel and display tab. the page refesh and the style still shows.
i wonder if i need to delete the file from the server in the styles folder

for this problem not to happen again can you run through with me how install a style that i have download from this forum like the coffee thread. so i do not have this problem again.

Although Internet Explorer is one of the most popular browsers and you can import a style with it for your board you can not delete a style with it for some reason. Unless you wish to edit your database with PHPMyAdmin you will have to download and install FireFox web browser on your computer to delete styles.
If you wish to make your own styles and want to use the preview feature without saving a few hundred times and then pulling up a preview you will also have to use FireFox web browser.
Now I'm sure that the board software can be changed to work with IE and have this be correct however I think Rick uses FireFox and really don't care for IE to much so this is most likely not on his list of things make work as much as other bugs and small problems.

Well, there isn't much we CAN do to defeat the caching mechanisms of web browsers...
