I would check with Rick and / or Groupee as I thought they did offer a pricing method to remove it, but I could be thinking of some other software.

The LEGEND must remain, the LINK to central can be removed.

A license to use software does not mean that you own the software. It means that you have paid an agreed amount in order to use it within the specifications of the agreed upon terms between the licenser (UBBSystems) and the licensee (you). If you do not agree with these terms, then dont license the software.

UBB.threads does not display advertisements.

Displaying the developer's information within the software is not an advertisement.

Tell Apple or Microsoft to remove their information from the software you license from them. I'd like to know how well that goes for you.

Remember that in most cases within the world we live in today, you are not buying the software/music/movies...etc for your complete ownership, you are licensing the use of it. You cannot replace the branding and call it your own software/music/movie -- that's generally seen as plagiarism or worse.
