Hi - is it possible to add widgets or general code to ones post, that contain code other than HTML. For instance Javascript and various other technologies that help create a better presentation and also allow data to be fetched from other servers on the www, like for example displaying dynamic map that is navigatable Look forward to your reply, Thanks, Naz

One other thing came to mind... I would be happy if u or someone could demystify for me. What type of server package would be best suited for a ubb discussion forum/blog sight with a fair amount of multi-media content such as video content... Also what would be an adequate amount of disk space as a rough guage to aim at. One package I came across was Future Quest - 'High Capacity' W ould this be an over kill or not - Naz.

for that kinda moohlah, you are almost ready to go dedicated server.
it really depends upon what kinda traffic you anticipate..
how large will the forum be ? (number of users), (number of hits).. etc etc..
small forums can get by on a $10/month package..

hmmm.... that gives me at least a semblance of an idea cauze here in uk you would be hard pressed to find even the most basic package for $100 - after googling around it seems that distance between ur user base and server is no issue these days even if u are sending video content across the globe - and pls feel free to correct me if I am mistaken in making such an assumption......

I used to work for a webhost based out of the UK, while living on the West Coast in America with our servers on the East Coast in America with clients located globally, including China, India, Austrailia, etc. Honestly, in todays internet, and global userbase of most of our sites, you can host anywhere so long as the host has decent servers and is on a quality connection ...
