Various and sundry reasons but I deleted my ubbthreads from my website.

I am now ready to set it up. Before deleting all the files and actually even before that step I saved the config.inc file back to a document file in my computer.

Now for the dumb question. Can I upload all the files to my site set the permissions and drop this saved config.inc file in instead of doing the install?

As long as the paths are the same that would work. You will need to manually edit the main.inc.php file as well as this has 1 or 2 settings that will need to be changed.
