7.3.1
Just installed it. I can't find the Flood Control Timer in the CP that used to be in 7.2.2. Where will I find it?
Thanks
Musky

And it still can be set per user, I overlooked that one when I was wondering why the heck I got flood control as an admin.

I guess there is no way to set the flood control by group? - or am I overlooking something?
The "Minimum time between posts" setting just applies to new threads and does not stop a member from flooding the board with replies.

Minimum time between posts applies to both new topics and new replies.

Rick, is that is 7.4? Or does 7.3.1 have that capability? (mine does not seem to)

That should be in 7.3.1 as well. I just double checked the code to verify It should apply to both. There is a setting on individual users as well if necessary.

I am using 7.3.1 and set up a group for new users. In the group permissions I set the Minimum time between posts to 900 seconds. It stops them from starting multiple new threads but not from making replies every few minutes in multiple threads.
Perhaps when I upgraded the code had not been changed yet?

Hmm, I'll need to check a couple things and make sure this is working properly in our latest code and that there isn't a bug lingering around.

Ok, this definitely works in 7.4. Will test on a 7.3.1 forum, may have been a bug in that version that never got reported.
