It would be really cool to have the ability to have a restricted list of users that are allowed to participate in a certain topic or even are allowed to edit a particular post.
This would enable groups to form that could participate in projects like working on building documentation together or managing certain types of information as a group.

It seems like a good idea but what if at some time t, more than one person wants to edit the data within the post from time t. How would that work out unless you implement post locking and unlocking like sccs source control system.... is this how you were thinking of implementing...
