Not sure if this is the correct place to ask for assistance w/ this program. I already tried the Soundforge forums but haven't received a reply. This is my 1st attempt at configuring MySQL and phpMyAdmin to work together in preparation for a new install of Threads. Here's the message I'm getting after configuring the 3 vars (authtype, user, password):

Warning: Failed opening './libraries/auth/httpd.auth.lib.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /usr/home/admin/html/www.uemforums.com/phpMyAdmin/libraries/common.lib.php on line 773

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: pma_auth_check() in /usr/home/admin/html/www.uemforums.com/phpMyAdmin/libraries/common.lib.php on line 774

the program cannot find httpd.auth.lib.php.

You should, according to that error message, have a subdirectory in your phpmyadmin installation named libraries, inside that directory should be one named auth, and httpd.auth.lib.php inside of auth.

Make sure you unzipped the zip right and uploaded the files in the correct directory tree.

Well not exactly--the file and function call were there. It appears the instructions on the ubbcentral site are incorrect, from UBBCentral phpMyAdmin install page:

$cfg['Servers'][$i]['user'] = ''; // MySQL user

$cfg['Servers'][$i]['password'] = ''; // MySQL password (only needed

Not httpd; just http; and the comments after MySQL password are incomplete...anyone care to notify le webmaster of that site?
