Quick question, I was just informed by a member that he has received several Birthday emails today. It appears that when I clear the cache from the Control Panel he gets another email. Is this correct if so how can I stop this from continuing (Yes I know I could not clear the cache but I’m needing to do it from time to time)

Clearing cache is a fix for problems you may have on your server. So whenever you clear cache several files are rebuilt. One of which I assume is the mailer script.
So I would suggest to refrain from clearing cache on a regular basis.
If you find you need to, then post your reason in the bugs forum.

then that would be a bug, if so.. clearing cache shouldn't cause emails to be re-sent..

There you go SD. But I do recall a few updates back by Morgan(?) that this was a issue on birthday emails sent out multiple times. Memory fade! But in any case if it is happening it should be reported as a bug. Agree? Found the prior post HERE

Well, I'm having a problem with the "Who's Online" not updating for hours. The Cache trick would fix this for me. I have the Cache time for who's online set to 1?
