We are trying to save a list of User emails using the advanced search feature. Administrators have the option to save the list. Moderators do not see the Action Items. How do we give the moderators this ability?

You would need to make them a administrator to enable the feature for them. So they must be in the admin group. Just modifying full control panel access to moderators does not really give them access to all features.

In the latest version there is a group permission "has full access to the control panel" this is your best bet; other than this, you're limited...
But as Ruben says, the only difference of a Global Moderator and an Administrator is Control Panel access, so your best bet is probably just making them an admin...

Oh I never tested a global mods access. Maybe they have the additional feature.

It would be helpful if the Mod of a particular group could manage emails to just his group, but it appears that only the admin has this function unless someone else sees something I'm not seeing. Maybe an expansion of the CP permissions?

Yes, that is where I am now...and I wanted to go just a little further. Turning oiver the control panel to multiple moderators is not good business...accidents can happen..Thanks for your reply. Maybe something for 8.0?

Possibly. Rick would need to comment on that perspective.

Well, you could make a new group, say "Trusted" or "Co Admins" and grant that group special privileges then assign it to mods you trust to edit the cp...

I like the idea of being able to give whatever permissions we want to Global Moderators and even certain Moderators.
