I can't seem to find where to do this in the CP; v 7.5.1. The person trying to register was prevented from doing so because their spouse shares the same e-mail address. So, rather than having this person jump through hoops, I said I would create the account manually. Now, I am rather embarrassed because I can't find that feature. Can someone point me to the correct place to do this, please? TIA

There is not a option to manually add a member in the control panel. there are ways to get around this issue but it may present problems down the road for things such as lost password and watched items notification.
But anyway I assume you have email verification and Unique emails per account enabled in the cp>>Registration settings. So just register the user the normal way and enter a completely bogus email address. Then the user will show in the registration queue in the control panel. Then you can approve them even though the email is not verified.
This part I am not sure about. Edit the new user in cp>>Member management and try adding the legit duplicate email address.

Ah, so that's why I couldn't find it. In my previous version 6.4.1, there was that option.
Thanks for the additional info... I'm sure this will work out using a different method.

Bout time. That was one of those UBB.Classic features that everyone missed for a while that went to UBB.Threads.

I've only once needed to add a user manually - yesterday! Talk about timing...

Yeah but if it is not in there yet and yesterday you needed it then it is to late. I have had to do this several times over the past few years.
