When using the Manage Topic dropdown, clicking on "Rename this topic" results in an "Action Completed" message, then immediately returns to the topic. No changes can be made.

This ban be a bit misleading. It basically renames everything in the topic to an Re: of the first post in the topic.

So, if you really want to rename a topic, first you'd change the subject of the first post, and then click the rename topic and all the replies will be an Re: of the first post subject.
