Hi all,

I had to completely reinstall the forums due to an exploit which shoved a whole bunch of nasty code onto the site. However, when I went through, I accidently hit install instead of upgrade. Now, apparently there is a table in the DB which will not allow me to "redo" the upgrade portion. All the old information is still in the DB, but My board refuses to pull it.. even with the correct username/pass.

Any ideas?

It could be that it's pointing at the wrong table prefix. All your tables should have some sort of prefix like ubbt_ or something else. What you need to know is the proper table prefix that was used for your actual forums.

Once you have that, you should be able to edit the includes/config.inc.php file. You'll see a bit that says 'TABLE_PREFIX' => '???_',

You'll want to change the '???_' to the proper table prefix if it isn't correct.

That worked.. I think I missed it because the install added regular ubbt extensions.
