[7.5.4.2] Who's Online - Island

To be fair this isnt just this version of 7.5.4.2
it been like this since 7.5xx
But for a good 6 months and at least 2 upgrades.

If you look at the image below, you will see my who's online
island. But everyone is almost listed A-Z but occasionally
without reason you will get it out of order? But only one memeber so it will read A - Z but then a "Dereck" will pop in there which does not happen normally.

The Who's online "Page" works fine. listing most recent.
But my Who's online island just seems to show "A-Z" Generally.

Also?
In the control panel it says "How many Usernames should be displayed in Who's Online? "
So ive added "15" if you look at the image i dont get 15 members showing. This also happens if i change that number its always a couple out.

I assumed that the latest update may have fixed this after reading the what's been fixed but not for me.

These are from the latests update from the members area. 7.5.4.2

the alpha sorting is busticated in latest code.. i had to change it (actually removed code in the process) to have it work properly.

also removed invisibles, guests, and spiders... (just a preference)..

Yeah, it shouldn't be sorting alphabetically at all anymore. It should be sorting by most recent activity. This was done, since if you have a lot of users online, but only list say 6, you'd never see some of them.

The alpha sorting should have been removed altogether, and I'll need to take a closer look at that.

i'd prefer to see that as optional.. some peeps want to see all the users that are currently online (regardless) and in that case they'd also like to see them sorted.. that's why i see a lotta boards with max-onlines of 50 ore more... (yes, i know about the overhead of longer list, but it's a common desire)

the current non-sorted implementation is a step back, imo

Did you have a look and fix it yet ?

If anyone is board waiting for v8 anyone want to point me in the right direction to fixing this? (See First post)
However now i'm running 7.5.6

Ive no plans to upgrade immediately with v8 (let the bug come out) and its becoming really frustrating seeing the whos online show pretty much the same members all the time.

Would be nice to get it working before v8
