I turned this on and the first reply to my thread by required approval, then the next didn't then the next did, etc..

I'm not sure it was every other one, but I know there was like 6 or 7 posts made but only 4 were needing approval.

I'm using the brand new 7.5.5 and I've used the feature before and it seemed to work fine. Not sure why it's acting flakey.

Hmm, is it on for only certain groups and do you have members in a variety of groups?

Hmm, you're right Rick. I had created some other user groups to allow them access to special forums. those additional group rights were messing my ability to require approval for posts.
