UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums Resources and Customizing How Do I? Make links to old version (6.5.5) work?

There are several posts from the past with links within our forum itself, from when we were running 6.5.5 (and earlier)...well, with the upgrade to 7.5.5, those prior links no longer work, and simply redirect to the main forum page. Any way to fix that?

Are you using the redirect scripts that were included with the importer?
I had a similar problem with upgrading from classic. But still had some issues with the redirect scripts. Probably due to I changed to spider friendly url's after upgrading.

The redirect scripts should catch most of them. You'll need to make sure you have the showflat/showthreaded and postlist redirect scripts in the same directory as the main ubbthreads file.

You mean the directory that threads 6 was in , correct Rick?

Yeah, guess I should have clarified that. I normally always do upgrades from 6.5 in the same directory. So, yeah the redirect scripts need to be in the original location that the 6.5.5 version was in.
