A user has claims to be sporadically taken to the homepage on login attempt. No settings have been changed, no incorrect pw message etc. Any ideas? Is this a problem on his end?

Hmm, hard to say. If it's just redirecting then it sounds like maybe the cookie isn't being set. Is the user accepting cookies properly. If they are, then we'd probably need some info on the browser they are usingi if it happens all of the time, or just sporadically, etc.
