My "Classifieds" forum: http://ambergriscaye.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/forums/5/1/Classifieds.htmlis showing posts from 2008 as the most recent. gizmo and i did test posts, which show under active topics, but then when you go to the classifieds forum the posts showing start in Feb 2008..... i turned the forum on and off, rebuilt forums, topics, posts. nothing changed. peek here: http://ambergriscaye.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/category/8/Belize_Life.htmlyou can see Gizmo's test, i have a test just before that one. neither show when viewing the Classifieds Forum. Default Topic View (Days): is set to show all threads. Default Sort Field and Direction set to last post time and descending no custom inserts what to try next? your recommendation?

That's a bit strange. What to try next? I'd try opening a support ticket Toss in the admin info to your forums to start with and we can take a look around at a few things. Any modifications that we should know about?

It looks like the locked threads are being stickied. The test posts are there if you look down below the locked threads. I know that doesn't tell anyone what to do to fix it, but it at least appears to be the issue.

Humm might need to rebuild forums or clear cache. Try the cache first.

Rebuilt everything, cleared cache, purged cache/template files manually, etc...
Not sure WHY the locked topics are showing first in the list, but I am seeing the test messages below now (marty, what'd you do? lol)

I think that the topics are still in the announcement table (from when your mod announced them), when I try to sticky one of the topics on the top it greets me with: We encountered a problem. The reason reported was
Script: /home/user/public_html/forum/scripts/stickpost.inc.php Line#: 108 SQL Error: Duplicate entry '28911-5' for key 1 SQL Error #: 1062 Query: INSERT INTO ubbt_ANNOUNCEMENTS VALUES ( 28911 , 5 )

Hmm, the last version should have fixed that issue. Not only with the actual bug in the first place, but when rebuilding content it should have cleared out the entry from the announcements table when the rebuild was done.

I think the fix will end up being to delete the items from the announce table manually; syn: DELETE FROM `ubbt_ANNOUNCEMENTS` WHERE `TOPIC_ID`='28911'
or
DELETE FROM `ubbt_ANNOUNCEMENTS` WHERE `FORUM_ID`='5'
