Well maybe not wise but have run a forum for a long time. I'd like to recruit some folks who have run their board for a long time (~10 years) to help build a tutorial for folks who are just getting their feet wet in messageboardland. If you are in post a quick reply. Maybe this has been done on a webmaster forum somewhere?

From newbies I'd like it if you posted questions or topics that you would like to see addressed. Post them here and they can be anything, we can distill things down to the most important topics we see fit.

The format I envision would be assigning each topic/solution to a couple authors, let them hash it out, and the let the rest reply with opinions on the solutions. Permutations of this obviously can be considered.

Good idea. We might be able to squeeze this into this month's newsletter as well to get some visibility to this topic. It might be already set to go out, but will check.

Well we could either get this started in a private forum or one of us could install a wiki to do this privately until it's ready to publish.

We have a Procedure section on our board for mods and admins but it would be great for it to be more comprehensive.
Any updates?
I'll help if I can.

Thanks,
tee
