I have been to UBB sites that have Read Receipts but I can't find them in my new installation? How do I accomplish getting read receipts?

I'm not aware of a read receipt option using UBB. Not saying there isn't, just that I don't know of it.
In the bottom left of all PM messages is "Unread By:" that will show you if they have not read it in the forum.

I'm with Chosen; there is no such read receipt other than the "Unread: " notice on each message. If everyone involved in a private topic has seen the message then their name will be removed from the "Unread: " notice.

There used to be a "read receipt" option. I belong to an older board (6.5, I think) that still has it.

I guess that explains why I am not familiar with it. I used classic and switched over at 7.

Well I don't ever recall it in stock code.
Maybe it was a MOD?

I had the return receipt on my board, but I don't remember the version where it changed. It wasn't a mod.

Maybe it was included up until the "private messages" changed to being "private threads?" Version 7.0, I think?

Probably or it was part of threads 6.x which I never used.
It is or could be a nice feature to bring back though.
