A few people have decided to act badly so we need to control them a little bit..... So, I have created a group called "moderated users" , that is set so that all posts on a group of forums are moderated.
It seems that the feature is not working, is this possibly because they are in other groups that do not need to be moderated? Is there a better way to accomplish this?
We're using threads 7.5.4.2.

It could be depending on what permissions are set but I don't think so,
To force moderate posts. You first need to place them in the group under member management.
Then by forum, set the permission with a 1 . For each forum desired
All new posts are moderated

Also don't forget if you are changing group permissions via
CP group permissions. You need to select the new group and click on the switch button to change to the moderated group to make changes.

If you went via the forum permissions then you need to set the value to 1 then select the switch for each and every forum
