My ISP has PHP Version 5.4.15 on Linux/Apache. They upgraded everybody last year from 5.3 so no hope of going back.

So, no resolution to this Buggis Majoris still?

It's only my own Admin posts (especially Copy & Pastes from TextEdit and anything with UBB formatting including Bold, Italics that gets screwed on Re-editing).

Creating posts etc. is fine, as Steve Bolt has stated earlier.

ONLY SOLUTION:
Change UBB Code pop-up to UBB + HTML pop-up below it, and bring Copy & Pasted text in as Plain Text from Apple's TextEdit

Is this problem fixed in the newest release 7.5.9 ?

Does anyone know if this problem of "disappearing posts" is fixed in the newest release 7.5.9

As mentioned earlier in this thread, posts that are cut and paste directly into a post disappear and this is probably due to incompatibility with more recent PHP software.

So, does anyone know if this known problem/bug was fixed in v. 7.5.9 ?

For some the issue was confirmed as being php 5.4.
since at the time ubb only supported up to php 5.3.
Currently ubb now supports it.
In fact a prior post states
"7.5.8 now supports php 5.4 and 5.5, so this is fixed, when it is released."
