Hi to All,

I have the latest version 7.5.7 and since the install I have lost the subscription access even though the user is showing that they should have access.

Note that moderators and admin have access but not users that subscribe. In the admin panel it shows that they do have access but when the admin becomes the member and they go to check they get the following message: Access Denied

I have checked paypal and the payment has been made and as well in the admin panel under subscriptions it is showing as being paid.

Any help would be appreciated as I am now starting to get complaints regarding access.

I am getting this error but don't know if it has anything to do with it:

Script: /home/outdoork/public_html/forum/scripts/userposts.inc.php - Line: 113
SELECT COUNT(t3.POST_ID)
FROM ubbt_TOPICS as t1,
ubbt_FORUMS as t2,
ubbt_POSTS as t3
WHERE t3.USER_ID = 5048 AND t3.TOPIC_ID = t1.TOPIC_ID
AND t1.FORUM_ID = t2.FORUM_ID AND t2.FORUM_ID in ( )
AND t3.POST_IS_APPROVED = '1' AND t2.FORUM_IS_ACTIVE = '1'
ORDER BY t3.POST_POSTED_TIME DESC
- You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')
AND t3.POST_IS_APPROVED = '1' AND t2.FORUM_IS_ACTIVE = '1'
ORDER BY t' at line 6

Well there is a unrelated post about those who jumped on 7.5.7 in the first few days it was released that there was a buglet in the language files. It did cause other user issues for members.
But it sounds like possibly you have a corrupted file.
I would first re-download the version and following the upgrade directions for what files to overwrite upload again.
But this time there should be no need to run the upgrade script again.

Hi Ruben,

Thank you for the reply regarding the upgrade but after doing the upgrade I did have some issues which SD corrected at the time.

I have been advised that I need to correct the forum permissions for the group so that that group can read post etc but the control panel will not accept the change to '1' so the group can view.

Any suggestions would be appreciated because I have had to close the forum until I can get this sorted out because of the complaints from members.

Was this resolved ?
What was the cause ?

I'm about to upgrade and use Subscription for membership.
It would be a nightmare for me to have Subscription issues.
